I like it. You have to reposition the scope a notch or two forward and the NF's objective turns when you add or decrease magnification, which alters the orientation of the TC, but I like it better than the Tactacam 5.0 I also have.
Got a new 45 moa mount and had to get the rail machined to 0 moa. Had to zero and test it out on some more rabbits.

Still figuring which projectile will be best. Heavies for short barrels have given me best consistency and ES versus chasing lighter faster loads. A 140g Hybrid or 156g Hybrid at 2450-2500fps seems achievable.

It's 100% percent about finding the right powder. With my 308W, I went with a faster powder and medium weight projectiles. With this 6.5CM, a friend ran some figures through QL and almost all of the preferred powders with near 100% powder burn are actually a slower powder type (RL16, 26). H1000 gave me too many secondary ignitions inside the suppressor with a 20" 300WM so it's off the table.
A few of the AI mafia were at Quantico's R4 today shooting 1,000yds today. A 50BMG, 6.5CM, 6CM an me with my AT-X in 6BR were on the line. My 6BR was struggling as it was only going about 2645fps; I need to reload and get this moving at 2925fps or so.

PVA wouldn't even return any of my emails after a couple of times trying to contact them. Ordered my 300NM Proof through Front Range Precision. M27 shank barrels are easy to find since it's 1.250. M30 blanks are much harder to get and even then, not too many people have prefits ready to go. Bugholes usually has some blanks in stock, just search for 1.350

So my fixed pistolgrip AT is now a folder thumbhole, and vice versa with the ATAICS. Yes I know I need to take out the barrel screw plug out

Im kind of ghetto-rigging mine right now but it works. I have a Vortex Diamondback HD 16-48x65 with a phone mount on it, and then I use my iPhone. At some point I'd like to do a Swaro or something with a proper camera, but for now this will do lol.

I asked @Sniperwannabee somewhere in a thread and he said he uses Accurate 300 WSM mags without modifications.
So I just placed an order with MHSA for an AI AX. But I just realized the 308 barrel is a 20” plain muzzle. I checked on AI website and it shows the 308 AX comes with a 24” barrel with a muzzle brake. Did I order a super old model? Just want to make sure I am not mistaken…. Thanks in advance

That I don’t know since I just placed the order a couple of hours ago. I really hope it’s a post 2014 model for quick barrel change…
Unless it was listed as used I'd be very surprised if a brand new model was floating around at a dealer that long. Especially MH or Euro.
