I believe I read the same info on SH as well.I have been shooting a ton of 338 LM hand loads in my AXSR this year, knock on wood…. no pierced primers. I think I read somewhere that the AXSR bolt is already bushed?
Spun the 33xc barrel on and realized I never purchased a single shot sled . View attachment 7929562

It's 100% turf and worth every penny. No more mowing, fertilizing and irrigating, more time for bourbon and putzing around.Sounds like he doesn't have to mow then, just blow the leaves into his neighbor's yard, leaving more time for shooting, reloading or general fucking about... Seems like a no-brainer to me!
This is the way unless you want to buy SFP bolt bodies and the 1.6mm firing pin assembly. Just make sure to send in all the LFP bolt bodies you have at the same time. If you go this route and buy a bolt body down the road for 308 just say, make sure you buy the SFP bolt body as your firing pin assembly is already turned down.I just shot my 33xc on my AXMC over the pass weekend. I pierced few primer even at low node. The range master who also a gunsmith suggested me send my bolt with firing pin to LRI for bushing. He told me a lot of AI with large firing pin having this issue.
The AXSR has the 1.6mm (small) firing pins and bolts from the factory. No need to do anything.I have been shooting a ton of 338 LM hand loads in my AXSR this year, knock on wood…. no pierced primers. I think I read somewhere that the AXSR bolt is already bushed?
Thanks for the heads up. I snagged one.Just got a shipment notification for the AXSR .308 Win Bolt RH from Euro Optic, they are in stock right now for those interested.
Congrats man! Welcome to being better than everyone else
Just the barrel. They use the same 0.473" bolt face.Quick question on barrel swap on an AXSA: to change from 308 to 6.5CM, do I only need a new barrel or do I have to do something about the bolt too?
Just another barrel that Is for a short action AI.Just the barrel. They use the same 0.473" bolt face.

They are good, the 300PRC and 6.5CM on this rifle are excellent. I've had 5 proof barrels (4 CF, 1 steel) now in various calibers, they have all been solid. How does that Proof pre-fit shoot?

Tight.Anyone have the toque value for the 2 silver screws that hold the trigger to the action on an AXMC?
Yeah. My receiver has the same marks.View attachment 7934615
I’m assuming these marks are from the spent casings?
Those are notches indicating the number of dead steel plates.View attachment 7934615
