Same place your vision probably came from
Although I must say, given current U.K. pricing you would be better off just ponying up and buying a new AT-X. Secondhand AT’s are £3k before you add the cost of the AO stock.
I beg your pardon?Wash your mouth out.
I was all set to buy an AT-X as I thought the comp trigger issues were all from people adjusting them too low but the latest few posts on the issue suggest that's not the case. I want to buy an AI "partly" due to it being reliable, the comp trigger sounds like it's a liability.Unless you don't want a questionable trigger.
What load you running under the 230's?2200 Yards 300NM
Just testing 230A-Tip
7 out of 10 Hits.
Unless you don't want a questionable trigger.
I’m sure they shoot a lot…. They’ve probably only passed the drop test…I know two people with AT-X in the U.K. and neither have suffered this reported issue.
I’m just on the fence to off load my AX in order to replace with the AT-X. Sometimes it’s better the devil you know. But one things for sure, AI’s are a peg above the rest.
Yeah, well, I mock you're flat ass beer and noble history of losing to the British while we won. Try a hefeweizen and tell me a scottish beer isn't something made in someone's shed.
I beg your pardon?
A new AT-X can be had for £4k. Although nice as the AO chassis is it makes economical sense to buy the factory rifle in its standard form, factory fresh with a new barrel. U.K. prices are crazy.
From what wheat beer I’ve tried its bloody awful, I’ll be travelling to the US in a few months so willing to give it another go, any recommendations?Yeah, well, I mock you're flat ass beer and noble history of losing to the British while we won. Try a hefeweizen and tell me a scottish beer isn't something made in someone's shed.
Yeah I know AI and saving money doesn’t work in the same sentence, more pointing out the comp trigger issues makes the decision more difficult as if it weren’t a liability then the AT-X is the easy answer. If you want to save money, don't buy an AI.
I thought after 299 pages everyone knew what GBPSE meant.
Busch Light is gods true gift to mankind, I highly recommend. From what wheat beer I’ve tried its bloody awful, I’ll be travelling to the US in a few months so willing to give it another go, any recommendations?
H1000 at 85grWhat load you running under the 230's?
Yes, put it down and drink whiskey instead. From what wheat beer I’ve tried its bloody awful, I’ll be travelling to the US in a few months so willing to give it another go, any recommendations?
If you do a little leg work you might be able to trade someone the atx trigger for the standard.Yeah I know AI and saving money doesn’t work in the same sentence, more pointing out the comp trigger issues makes the decision more difficult as if it weren’t a liability then the AT-X is the easy answer.
My envy is immeasurable and my day is ruined
That is a sweet AT.
Yep, EI spigot. That is a sweet AT.
I love the clip on and NV bridge. Is that an EI spigot mount on the front?
My envy is immeasurable and my day is ruined
That's all it takes? Let's make it last longer!
Some of my Elite Sand crew.... Old pic, the new one's haven't been out for a group shot yet.

Need to step up your thermal game a bit![]()
If I lived in a state where we could night hunt, I would. These do surprisingly well for what they are though. Rather the money go to the envision MARS range finders when @SkyScrapin gets them in.
Ya I’m looking at culling the herd a bit to get one of those as well!!!
Cull the heard?? Never!
My son caught one of the Elite Sands cheating with the others!

Don’t feed his ego…Your rifle is one of my absolute favorite!
The SR is its own trigger. It is not used in any other rifle. What are the issues with the comp trigger? Pretty sure that’s what came in my AXSR.
For anyone interested Scotch eggs aren’t a Scottish invention, here’s an educational video for anyone interested.

ATX 6BR (switching to 6GT)
AXSR 6.5CM
Without Warning TMB muzzle brakes.
The king of brakes!
(I know you didn’t ask me but….) Got mine from Anarchy Outdoors.Who sells the keyslot QD socket?
Does the AT-X have any weigh added to the rear to balance it out?
Thanks to @MOUNTIC for a killer rifle. The 300 Norma did extremely well in the frigid temps out to 1 mile. Thanks again my friend!!

Superb: how do I get me one of these Pls?Also proofed out my flat trigger shoe. Works and feels great.
Some "springtime in Texas" shooting today. Have not given the 338LM barrel much love lately, forgot how much of a hammer it is running 285's and 250's.
Also proofed out my flat trigger shoe. Works and feels great.
Big thanks to @Huskydriver for recommending to add some some texture on the face, I was just going to leave them smooth. Finger pad really "sticks" to the shoe now. Just have to throw some anodizing on to finish them up.

How do you not get stuck with that much snow on the ground? Must have dual-lockers cause I’ve got an old XJ that I’ve been mobbing around with open-diffs and if the snow gets too deep you’re in trouble.Looks freaking fantastic can't wait to try one out buddy.
