Anyone know who makes the rubber magazine bumpers/pads?

I cracked my AXSR's 308 plastic base during a reload over concrete. I took a page out of the VA's playbook and used superglue and tape to put it back together....but would like to see if there are rubber slipovers that might help prevent it on the other mags.

Life hack if you’re coating an AX- Knock the sharp edges off of the forend attachment area so you can use the sawtooth arca block and make it look less unfinished. It felt kind of wrong to take a file to the chassis the day I got it and I didn’t get quite it as perfect as I’d like, but it definitely makes it look more natural.

Def seems like an easy job for the 7axis Dremel

I love the “1.5” that chassis was my “fake AI” in the beginning lol

Actually scouring the net to find a short action Aics 2.0- folding square back

Easier to find a good wife lol

Last weekend, at Whittington Center, first time I had her out. 1200 yd/1000 meter white Buffalo in the clearing....super nice to shoot, super happy with the purchase.
One of my buddies shot it, remarked on the ejection of the brass- "man this thing HATES brass....sure is smooth!"
Had to agree, the ejection is robust, bolt throw is smooth.
Once again, very pleased, all of the AI the praise is warranted!

Just picked up this AXSA this weekend in .308. This is my first AI, but not my first long range rig. I haven’t shot it too much yet, but it’s impressed me so far. The group shown was my first group with it, and zero confirmation. Stretched it out to 300 which is as far as I could shoot where I was, and stacked a few rounds onto a 4” gong. I can’t wait to take it out farther, it is definitely a capable rifle.

For anyone interested in doing up a shorter length of pull ATX for a younger shooter I found out a gen1.5 is about a 1/2” shorter than a gen3 and if you pull the adjustable buttstock unit out and drill/tap one extra hole and re-attach the buttpad you can reduce the length of pull a total of 1.5”.
I found a donor gen1.5 buttstock and drilled/tapped an extra hole (circled in red). Fully extended it’s about an inch shorter LOP than I usually run.
