Both are on my list.I was able to pick up 3 in the last month, just checked the places I got them and they are out of stock. It was short action precision and triad tactical so maybe not on your list.
Thank you!

Just be wary of those Nigerian prince ads. WTB ads are scammer magnets hereMaybe try a WTB in the PX also. I bet a lot of people have 1 of 2 in a parts bin unused. Might have bought them to try with a AW cut custom but went back to AICS mags.
I have some new AW mags if anyone has atx mags and wants to tradeBuy the AW mags with the lip (ax/atx), take dremel with cutoff wheel and put a slit down the center of the "lip". Now take a flat face hammer (jewlers hammer) and beat it flat. I have a few mags I've done this to and they have been running for years.
I'll snap a few pics when I get home of the finished product. It takes me longer to find where I put my damn dremel tool than it does to mod a few mags. As for destruction you are only putting the slit in the lip. The carbon disk is just the right thickness that when you hammer the flaps flush it's the perfect gap.I have some new AW mags if anyone has atx mags and wants to trade
That seems like a lot of work and destruction
GM308M2 is all I shoot in my 24" factory AX308 barrel. Last time in Chrono'd it was 2668fps.View attachment 8341440
Any of y’all shooting GM308M2 in your 24” barrels (unsuppressed…like a hero)? If so, what speeds are you seeing?
Shooting out of my 24" barreled AT and using my bud's Labradar, I measured an MV of 2656 with an SD of 10.9 (20 rounds consecutive).
Very nice. Do you have a similar formula for 175 grain SMKsView attachment 8342140
Reloads not factory..
I got 185 jugs to go 2730. No pressure signs. Didn’t get to try it out to 1k yards yet. I’m sure it’ll have no problem goin that distance.
26” AI barrel
Berger 185 JUGS #30418
Peterson .308 srp brass
46.2 gr CFE 223
cci 450 primers
coal 2.945 (just under mag length).

40.7 imr 4064 with a 175smk at 2.820 coal in lapua brass (41.7 in winchester) is my M118LR load. Does 2700 out of a 24" and 2560 out of a 19". Gupical groups out of the 19" and honestly any gun I've put them through with this load. (The black x one is truthfully not part of the group)Very nice. So maybe 2,800 fps out of a 26" barrel??40.7 imr 4064 with a 175smk at 2.820 coal in lapua brass (41.7 in winchester) is my M118LR load. Does 2700 out of a 24" and 2560 out of a 19". Possible, might be a bit ambitious but I'd say 2775ish.So maybe 2,800 fps out of a 26" barrel??
I don’t. Was going too, but the bc on the jugs looks better on paper then that of the 175 smk. So went with the jugs instead. Though, I did snag a box of 169 smk. Which has the same bc as the 175 smk. Should be able to get the 169’s close to 2800. 26” barrel 1:10 and reloads really gets the 185’s going though. Some use MR 2000 to get it in the 2700 plus range with a 20” barrel.Very nice. Do you have a similar formula for 175 grain SMKs

I really need to get my Vudoo out. It’s going to have a birthday in my safe coming up…
Second Q:
Anyone have pics of a 1.5” scope mount on an AT/AE/AW on the low rail? Preferably a Spuhr 4002, but I’ll take whatever.
I’m asking that b/c I’m not sure if I’d go with a clip-on or just a thermal scope. If I go the latter I just want a visual.
Yeah, just a side shot without the NV would work. Just seeing how high they look with that low rail. I like high rings (1.5” to 1.4”) but looks factor into it a bit more than usual as, well, it’s an AI.AI AE Mk I, 20 MOA low rail, 20 MOA IMUNS, PST Gen II 5-25x50, Vortex extra high(1.54") rings, PVS-27. Not the best pic, but I could mock up a living room pick if you need it.

Ok, two question:
The first is a pretty obvious question, but wanted to confirm.
AT wanting to run a clip-on needs:
I assume 1.5” because that’s what other rifles need for NV/thermals, but just wanted to check.
- AT Night Vision Bracket
- 20 MOA Night Vision Rail for the AT NV Bracket
- High AI pic rail for scope
- And here is the question: 1.5” rings, right?

1.5 with low rail. You still got that at?
1.5 with low rail.
What’s the difference between that and the high rail. If using a superior 1.3 centerline clip on ?You won't be on the Nvg same plane.....
Kick ass! That’s a perfect pic. That height on a low rail looks good.1.5 with low rail.
I know, but if I go that way I’ll just attach the high rail and NV mount. You won't be on the Nvg same plane.....
Did you do the chest high drop test yet? You can’t say you get it til you’ve done the chest high drop test.My green AT in 308 with a 24” barrel arrived today.
All I can say is, “Now I get it.”

Since the AT was built as a sniper weapon system, and not a PRS rifle, I judged it on its own merits.Did you struggle to cycle the bolt like all the PRSers like to complain about?
Not on my to do list.Did you do the chest high drop test yet? You can’t say you get it til you’ve done the chest high drop test.
This is the AT with a Spuhr 4002C with high action rail. This is what Eurooptoc told me what I need for be planar with NV clip on. The 20 Moa rail is still on back order. View attachment 8343816
Holy crap, another LH AI in the wild, in an aftermarket chassis to bootFinally got permission from the atf to take home my supressor
Yeah the chassis is fantastic. Perfectly happy with this and the thumbhole over an atx. Kudos to the guy who came up with itHoly crap, another LH AI in the wild, in an aftermarket chassis to boot

Back when AI’s were true to their rootsFirst time out with the OG green-on-green-on-green AIAW (for me anyway). Not bad for a nearly 30 year old rifle with a fixed 6X scope! @AndyK
