I've got a Leupold Mark 4 with M3 knobs with elevation calibrated to the M118 175gr. After adjusting, it seems I have to really wrench down on the three screws that hold the knob in place after zeroing. They snug up against the turret which seems to be a real smooth stainless steel or aluminum. My problem is, they seem to slip since there's no real grip between the surface of the screw and the surface of the inner turret.
Has anyone modified these screws to add grip? My thought was put a dot of silicone or something "rubbery" to give the screw just a bit more grip on the turret when I turn it. Your thoughts?
Some photos to better explain what I'm talking about.
