Gunsmithing adding spacer syst to A5

I'm thinking of getting a McMillian A5 from JW Precision if it's in stock in stead of having to wait. I don't need the adjustable cheek piece but I would like the LOP spacer system. If I buy a stock with the standard A5 stock can I add the spacer system? Or is it to much work and I should just get the fully adjustable stock?

It would be easy enough to add, if you have the skills, or know someone who has.

Depending on your desired LOP range, you may have to cut part of the butt off. Add the spacer system as you would a recoil pad.

I was thinking I could take off the recoil pad, screw the spacer base plate to the stock, then add the spacers and recoil pad with the longer screws.

McMillan would be able to do it as well. I had one done here not too long ago...
