Help! I have several SB PM IIs. For the first time I bought one with the MTC locking, Zero stop turrets. I've read and re-read the directions several times. I only have about 16 mils of elevation and there should be 26 yes I am on the first rotation, the indicator is flush with the top of the turret. I need to move the zero stop down. It only allows me to re-set it up in elevation. I followed the directions, moved the lock slide down, loosened the two allen set screws (although the instructions state they are in the 3 and 9 o'clock position, and on my scope they are at 3 and 6, the slotted screw head is at the 9 position, which I believe you are not supposed to loosen or it messes up the MTC) so the directions do not match the scope exactly, but I loosen these two allen set screws, and then unlocking the turret I can rotate the elevation up, but cannot rotate it down beyond the usual three clicks from zero. How do I set the zero stop down? Anybody else run into this problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

So do you need more down to zero your rifle? If that is the case you need to unlock the turret and dial up without moving the erector then tighten the set screws and dial down. You can not really move the zero stop, it will always stop in the same place.

Thank you so much. Yes, that is exactly what I needed, to move my zero down. I followed your directions and it worked perfectly! I will get it zeroed now at the range in the morning. That would have been a helpful bit of information to have been included in the instruction manual. I read everything I could find and didn't come across that. Thank you again!
