any thoughts on how to get a Tikka compact stock or shorten LOP? Want to train a young shoot and almost 14" is just far too long.

KRG Bravo would be 12.8" as a last ditch option, open to others

I put my tikka t1x into a boyd's at one stock. about 1.5 in shorter lop vs standard tikka t1x stock. make sure yo order the right model because the magazine may not fit.

For my kids I use a mdt lss with a ar stock. A ar 15 with ar stock or a at one in a 22LR with the butt pad removed completely. The ar stock with the adjustable lop is awesome for quick adjustments.

Something to think about that many people don't consider - most shooters (especially kids) that need a short LOP are going to have issues with the distance from the grip to the trigger, as well. Not sure if he's ever done one for a Tikka, but Craig at PDC Custom has done plenty of youth sized chassis for 700s and Savages where they had both a short (and adjustable) LOP as well as a shortened reach to the trigger.

Ugh. Compact stock won't work.

Great seller though. Got the stock & everything as listed great condition. Would buy from dunnmobile again

The varmint barrel on my T3x won't fit in the compact stock. measured different points with calipers and it will require too much material to be removed from the narrower youth stock to work in the area closest to the muzzle. easy job, but unless I chopped off part of the front of the stock it won't work with a thick barrel

Thank you to Pendergraft Gun Works in Raleigh, NC for the relief work he did inside the stock, ensuring the thicker varmint barrel doesn't touch the plastic factory stock (he did it when he threaded the barrel for me). Probably why the gun actually shoots well for me with the factory stock.

Guess I'll just pick up the Bravo chassis. Sadly there was a black one on the PX that was just picked up.
