Aguila .22LR SV CENTURION any good?

Is the Aguila .22LR Target Standard Velocity CENTURION worth $.061/round? Reason for asking is that I just got an email from CMP whether I would like my order from over a year ago to be filled. The .22LR Target Golden Eagle CENTURION may be another year out.

I am not looking for blaster grade ammo but primarily something that will do an Izmash Biathlon action justice.

If it cycles the Ciener-type conversions I could also use it in the match barrel I made for my LMT-MRP.

Heck, nowadays anything at $.06 a round is worth while. $30/500 is cheaper than anyone is willing to sell theirs for on the forum. Even Cabelas just started selling their CCI standard velocity for $.10/round in the stores. $50/500? No thanks.

Shoots equal to CCI SV in my rifle (savage bolt, i'm cheap). I'd buy it if I could both find it and afford it.

Al, at what range
i try some in both a ruger 10/22, savageFVSR
out to 50yd, my data was, ruger @ 25yd ok, 50yd golf ball size groups
the savage did a little better both @ 25&50yd
past that turned to poop,
both had flyer's all over the place
@ 150/200yd hope&pray
so in the 2 rifle i shot it in ok up close,25/50. passed that, junk in mine

Be advised; Centurion/Aguila is under new management. In the past the ammo was pretty good, but had some occasional QC issues from the factory when things were rushed by factory upper management. The CMP stuff was usually very good quality (some of it exceptionally so).

These days...I'd be very cautious. JMTCW...

I decided to have my order of 5K filled. Should be here next week.

If the stuff shoots very well, I'll have some for sale here on the hide. If it is average it will on gunbroker to make some blaster happy.
