Re: AI AE MkII - Who has one?

Anyone know how involved removing an AE action from the chassis (to do a barrel change) is? About as difficult as removing and retorquing a 700 in an AICS?

Re: AI AE MkII - Who has one?

Mike, I would highly recommend you contact me directly on this matter. This is a simple task but requirements for attending the AI Armorers course to understand and be knowledgeable on these proceedures are set in place.

Re: AI AE MkII - Who has one?

Will do. My question comes from plans I have for a second AI rifle in 260 or 6.5x47. The AWs ability to pretty much unscrew one barrel, screw in the new one, and verify head space might not be worth the extra cost to me if an AEs action removal extra step isn't a big deal.

Re: AI AE MkII - Who has one?

So I see alot of Atlas/AI spigot mount bipods in the pictures... My MkI did not have that mount standard, is this an option or std feature on the mkIIs?
