All text is bold today?

It almost appears that unread is bold and read is not ?

Does that seem like what it is doing it, I sort of see it, not super bold, but boldish

Doesn't seem to have any correlation to read or unread. The body of the posts, everything everywhere... all text on the entire site is bold. I've been trying a few things on my end and so far nothing has resulted in any change. I notice accurate shooter and long range hunting forums also seem to run on this community engine used here... and they look normal.

Tried 3 different browsers. So if it's something on my end, it's some weird windows 10 thing... and I haven't been able to figure out what as of yet.

first, give me a screenshot,

second, it might be your end, I just checked chrome and it looks normal to me,

Look in your preferences see is you bumped the font, or check your accessibility feature you might have hit a zoom or something but it looks sort of normal to me

switch the theme at the bottom left hand side of the page, go to the dark theme see if its the same as theme are unique in that way

so if you see bold in the dark theme it's your computer,

Yup, tried the dark theme earlier today... no change.

Wonder why my computer wants to be retarded only on one website. Anyone have bill gates cell number?

yeah... your screenshot is what I'm used to.

:(

I'm finding some references for this behavior in the ether... so I'll keep trying a few more fixes. Windows 10... what a peach.

Thanks for running down your end anyway @lowlight
I knew lots of changes were happening lately and thought since it was only the hide doing it, a monkey bumped a lever. I'll go after it on my side.

there are preferences that will change the individual computer, both on here and on your computer

for me on my Mac they are under Accessibilty

Where are the preferences that deal with that kind of thing on the hide? I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. I did not enter my profile/preferences at all today until after this problem surfaced... boom it was just there. I've been through most everything in the preferences I can access top/right. Is there another control elsewhere?

Pretty sure it wasn't a keyboard stumble... Pretty sure it was a corrupted font. Adobe Creative Cloud pulled an update on something and torched a font... that's my closest explanation as to what happened. The accessibility shortcuts and things typically have a global impact. They induce changes everywhere in the OS as well as browsers. They aren't site specific.

Historically speaking when something like that takes place, it affects more than ONE website. Which is what made this such a strange problem to troubleshoot. The hide was the ONLY place it showed.

Thanks for trying to help @lowlight. Freak issue, that hopefully won't return... and at least now if someone else has it, they can find a solution by using search feature. ;)
