Can’t argue with that!
Can’t tell ya how many times I’ve suggested that if you don’t like whatever rule set has been handed to you by whatever 3 letter group, go do your own rule set and run up your own flag. Nothing at all wrong with that. Heck somebody might come up with the next best thing! And then we all benefit!
Our club MD does pretty much what you state. We run the NRL22 stages as the rules dictate then we run 3-5 more with a different set of rules.
It works excellent for us! And the really cool part, I have not heard one single complaint in two years. Why is that? Probably two factors,
#1 people recognize our MD is a volunteer!
#2 no one is forcing anyone to be there, you don’t like the game go somewhere else.
Dad/grandpa/boomer/old guy babble,
Don’t forget to have fun! It will draw more new shooters than any all inclusive rule set! The key is FUN! Enjoy what is going on, encourage and learn! Stop complaining, do something to make it better.
