An Icon Lost Today - Jim Scoutten

It was announced about three hours ago, on Jim Scoutten’s Shooting USA facebook page, that Jim passed away. The shooting sports media has lost an icon!

Used to watch him all the time as a kid on TNN. May he continue to keep them in the 10 range up in Heaven.

I met him at SHOT Show several years ago - great guy and was really interested in helping me find a .22 rifle for my young son.

He was always representing the shooting sports.

We shot golf balls at 600 at the local club while he was watching. He said "get that on camera. nobody's gonna believe this". He was fun to talk with. RIP.....
