I have a couple of questions regarding these units. Is it safe to remove the front cover in daylight if the unit is turned off? Looked in the manual and it doesn't really specify. My main concern is cleaning the lenses. It doesn't make much sense to have to clean the lenses in the dark, but don't want to ruin the unit. Any help is appreciated.
