I dont see how he can get the neck up to 800 degrees that fast using that method. It looks like a waste of time to me. I would need to see an IR thermometer readout after he pulls it away
I have one of those miniductors and for the money they work great. I have been playing with mine for this same use. Looks like I may have to make a trip to radio shack to make the timer.

That is an interesting set up though. Will be interesting to see how much they cost if he starts producing them. </div></div>
I count to 10 on the 338LM, more like 6 or 7 on my 308s, but I've no doubt butchered some of them along the way.
Thank you for finding the manufacture on the heating inductor.
Found a place that is cheaper. Propane torch is a really inexpensive way to go but repeatability for me is a factor.
I will probably build one and all the buds will just share this one
It looked like it was home built using a chalk tube as a housing.
The person wants to automate the unit and sell as a system, so I don't know what the price will be.
I see several easy ways to automate!
propane, or induction.
Two stations + place for hot brass.
Is it Rube Goldberg, or guy's working together?
Have to dust off some small heating elements too.
