Way out West Thank Goodness
To celebrate our recent successes I am announcing a new policy at I^2 Technologies. I call it Image clean pricing! Here is how it works, on any Night Vision Device I offer for sale the price you see advertised means that the image will come free of cosmetic defects. Any defects in the image will be discounted in price. So in effect, NO HAND SELECT fees here at I^2 Technologies. If your buying from us it is understood that your getting either "Hand Select" herin refered to as Image Clean or your paying less for the unit!!!

Defects will be quantified by taking a photograph, through the tube, looking at an ITT Wall, and Spot chart which shows the exact boundaries of each of the three zones and it contains an exact spot size guide as well! The size guide shows spot size from .003 to .oo15. Anything smaller than .003 is considered to be a pepper spec and I will discount for these as well. Most people have never really seen this chart outside of ITT but from now on I will be using this to "grade" the image quality of the Device being offered for sale.

Any questions, please feel free to inquire. Enjoy spending less !!!!!!

Re: Announcing IMAGE CLEAN pricing!

I recently have been getting questions on this and in short, basically our Night Vision Devices we sell will be Hand Select or they will be discounted.

I will post pics of the zones from the official ITT spot chart here shortly.

Does this just apply to blems or does it include a combination of a blem-free tube that you've checked for specs too?

A blem-free tube with crappy specs isn't my idea of a good time. However an excellent tube with a couple blems is far more appealing in my mind.

Absolutely this covers specs. If a tube has say a 21 SNR that would be cause for a discount. Even if this policy didn't cover the specs which it does. It would be no different than the industry wide pricing practices already in place. We treat tubes like diamonds and we buy the best we can get our hands on! This is supplying the consumer with what they SHOULD GET with out charging a premium on top of the regular price. Other dealers will order a batch of say PVS 14s in and if they luck into a nicer tube they brand it "hand select" and then maximize their profits with an up charge. Then a marketing campain is kicked into gear to make the customer feel as if they have been given something special. The practice has always irked me and now I am in a position to do away with it! With Image clean you get the product you are rightfully paying for with out a rationalization to charge more!
