I've got everything for my Bighorn/Manners 6.5x47 build ordered or in hand. When that is built I will change the barrel on my Savage 6.5x47 back to my 22-250AI barrel. I've had a .30 cal blank sitting for a little while and was planning on building a .308 with the Stiller Tac30A/W action that I'm getting in the group buy. Here's the kicker... After I ordered my 6.5 light palma blank I found one locally in stock that was a standard palma. I was thinking of going with a standard palma anyway, so I jumped on it. But I forgot about the one I had ordered months before, so now I have a 6.5 blank and a 30 cal blank. The .308 that I have now, I'm going to give to my little brother when he gets home from deployment, so then I will be without a .308. What would you do if you were in my position? Build the .308 as planned and sell the 6.5 blank or build a lighter, shorter, handier 6.5x47 for hunting and sell the 30 cal blank? I reload for both now so having to buy all the reloading gear isn't a problem.
