One of the more important questions.

Where does one go and purchase these once the cases are over? I dont know if police departments have a sort of DRMO for confiscated weapons

Though he was involuntarily committed, it seems to me that it would depend on the outcome of that circumstance as to whether or not he would legally be able to take back the weapons and chemicals he legally owned. Just because someone's arrested for a violent felony doesn't mean they can't own guns any more. You have to be convicted before you lose that right.

And it's already "proven" that this man was doing something wrong?

And he's already "convicted" of this alleged 'wrongdoing'?

I see a possible lawsuit... he was taken in for a mental "evaluation", which is not the same an being "involuntarily committed".

Tried and found guilty by an angry girlfriend. Sure would be great to be tried first before being found guilty of sleeping nude and having a sword and tannerite.

At first, before I focused on the other details, I felt pretty sorry for the guy when I saw that he only had 20,000 rounds of what I assume to be centerfire. That's almost painfully under-equipped.

He was involuntarily committed.

There in lies the first problem - if we didn't get the whole story and he really WAS involuntarily committed then I understand.

If it was just a ploy because he had a lot of guns, then the government wins.
