I've been trying to think of a way to ask why, myself or any other American should care about this guy or the fact that he was killed.

It finally comes out undeniably that the current "new & better" tyrant ruler of Saudi did personally order his henchmen to go torture, murder and dismember someone who was a thorn in his side, despite the best efforts of both the Saudis and our government to downplay it.
The democrats as well as many others around the world will use it as a great propaganda piece showing Trump and his son in law are morally complicit for their help, support and friendship of another evil tyrant.. (of course it will be forgotten that everybody was currying favour also with the same brutal tyrant & doing the same "friend" thing even more, but that doesn't matter when the MSM pumps out the story)
