So after sitting through umpteen (required) 'talks' about racial diversity and tolerance in the past few months my patience is wearing very thin.
On the one hand, I want to do right by people--everyone gets a fair shake, have the police tone it down some (I have had my own interactions that color this view), but generally go by the "Do be a jerk" motto. (and make no mistake--I am NOT a defund the police dood--99.99% of the time we get it right--when a cop screws up they get fired).
I have watched serious arguments (at work--fortune 500 company) over the last few weeks of
Anyone else feeling that or do I need to STFU and go shooting (to be fair, it was 110 this weekend--no shooting/reloading/practice for me!)
I hate myself for not having thicker skin, but this crap is just unreal.

I have watched serious arguments (at work--fortune 500 company) over the last few weeks of
- People arguing that the yellow skin tone in a symbol of white supremacy
- "I don't see color" is now a microagression against black people
- Rioting is ok because police murdered someone
- When a black person was asked to let others talk because the meeting was for "allies" someone asked if he self-identified as black (I spit my drink out in laughter on this one)
- Everyone meeting we have to introduce ourselves by our preferred gender and sexual identity. (Seriously--what is the F does that have to do with how I do my job).
- Everything is the white man's fault
