Rifle Scopes Anyone have the Night Force Ballistics program

I am thinking about investing in the Nightforce Program and the Nomad by TDS. I havent heard much about it from folks that have this set up just that the program is good and the Nomad is a great handheld.

Any suggestions on what I should get I really want a great program and easy to use and navagate but the handheld needs to be really good and rugged.

The NF program is a custom version of ExBal which most people just talk about ExBal straight up. We run the NF Program with our Recon and it kicks ass.

To add to that, I'm not sure what version(s) of the program are available from Nightforce.

If you want the latest version, I'd go straight to Exbal for it.

Is this latest version using Density altitude? Instead of humdity, field elevation, etc?

I don't know whether Gerald has released that version yet. You might drop him a note and ask.

Frankly, it doesn't really matter for most people.

If you have the density altitude, it's probably because you have a Kestrel.

If you have a Kestrel, then you have the station pressure, temperature, and relative humidity already, and you don't need the density altitude.

I've got one programm from nightforce and another one from perry system both work good;
The perry one, i use on the computer, the nightforce use with PDA cells at the range. Very easy to use and fast.
I have another one that i use with my Ipod Touch : Bullet flight and it's cheaper than nightforce software.

Where did you get the Bullet Flight? Is it an APP that you can buy on Itunes account or something you added from another source. I have the Iphone and would love to have it readily available at the range.

It works with any bullet factory, easy to use too

Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy the Nomad and what all does the Nomad do besides run the program?
