I built a rifle like this for myself and everyone fell completely in love with it including me. It went over so well I decided to make it a standard model. With a little Georgia twang built into the name I'm happy to introduce the "Critter Get'r".

Here are the specs:

one piece bolt
side bolt release
Broughton #3 5C barrel
Holland stock (made by McMillan)
Williams steel trigger guard
Timney trigger @ 2.5 (this one has the optional jewel)

It will have a 1/3 MOA Guarantee with a Corbon custom load form Pete Jr.

I showed it to Dakota and he gave me that look. I told him his 2011 gun quota was filled. It is a beautiful rifle and it feels just as good as it looks.

I think you are the first to offer a 0.333333333333333333333333 MOA guarantee.

Re: APA's new hunting rifle

She weighs in right at 8 lbs. as is. I can make it lighter but I've been there before and didn't care for it. 5.5 lbs magnums test my patience at the range and aren't fun in the field. I believe it's perfect where it is.

As far as the price point goes. I'm working on that. The big determining factor is break in.

Is the Vais brake a little easier on the ears than the Little Bastard? Just wondering the reason for going with that one.

Re: APA's new hunting rifle

Darrel Holland makes 2. This one and a slightly different version with an adjustable cheek. Personally I don't care for the other stock that much but this one is awesome. The Cheek piece is very pronounced similar to a Montecarlo style. The grip is a smaller and more defined version of the Sako 75. I liked it so much I designed my Mannlicher for Africa around it.
