I have signed up at my local range for a class given by Chris Wiencke, training manager for AB.

We will go thru setting up a Krestel for the rifle, and ammo we bring to the class, learn how to correctly use the device, and set up dope for the rifle and ammo combination. We will be confirming the data with actual firing.

Anyone ever been to one of these classes, and what is your opinion on the class?

I will be there on Nov 7th. Class should be very informative. Itinerary looks good and I’m hoping that Chris can provide a lot of information to help me improve my overall shooting

Interested in your after action report.

    Recently got a Kestrel/RF.

Going off advice from more experienced Ive turned off features like coriolis/spin drift that would seem to be helpful but are not considered so.

Interested to hear what they say regards that.

    This one...

    Thank you, explains it.

    Summation.......

Those "drifts" are constant, your zero already incorporates them, if you are truing at specific ranges its accounted for already, impacts are actually minimal, wind is a greater factor either cancelling or barely added to by them, for typical practical targets if you are going to miss it will be by a wind error not SD or Coriolis.

I'll see you there. I've not been to this specific class, but have been to their 2 day seminar several times. Chris knows what he's talking about and is a good instructor. Looking forward to this.

The class was long, but there was a lot of information given out.
It is amazing the number of factors that influence the flight of a bullet at longer ranges.

Chris is definitely a pretty smart guy.

I've got some work to do to get to the point that I would like to be.
