I will have several Armasight CO-X's arriving over the next couple weeks for a Sniper's Hide special.
The CO-X is a compact, medium range clip on night vision device with awesome capabilities. No where else will you find clip on device of this quality, with these capabilities, for such a low price.

Very nice and certainly very competitive prices.

At 4X what do you see as the useable distance for tgt ID in yards for the CO-X ?? Say

Coyote on a clear night, and what is the weapon rating ?

They guarantee them for up to .300WM.
Distance really depends on the tube you choose. For the Gen 3 options, they are all good tubes. The bravo's may have some spots, but they generally disappear in a clip on with some magnification behind it. It also depends on how comfortable you are with 4x. With a gen 3 tube, especially Alpha or Pinnacle, you are looking at a top of the line tube and great glass, so as long as you could normally see something out at 300 on 4x, you'd be able to ID it with a good tube and a good day scope at that distance with the CO-X. Obviously conditions will come in to play as well. If you don't have an illuminator and it is pitch black out with no ambient light, you are going to suffer a little like you would with any I2 device.

With a Gen 3 tube, I personally consider the CO-X to be a 500 yard optic. It will focus much further, but that is where MY capabilities are limited with 7x mag at night.

I look at the CO-X as a budget version of the PVS-24. Very similar performance given similar tubes.

Please explain the difference in the tube options.

Who manufactures the tubes?

I will do a video more thoroughly explaining all the tube options as well, but here is a basic rundown.

Gen 2 tubes, could be made a number of places. US, France, Russia.
Gen2 SD = Standard definition, basic gen 2.
Gen2 ID = Improved definition, a little better than SD
Gen2 QS = White Phosphor, a little better than SD (Just my opinion, some people like SD better, but its just a color preference)
Gen 2 HD = Best of the gen 2 tubes. These are pretty awesome for gen 2, and rival some early gen 3 tubes in all areas but SNR.

Gen 3 Bravo, Alpha, and Pinnacle are all made here from what I understand, but could come from various sources. Pinnacle tubes are obviously ITT tubes that come with a data sheet.
Alpha tubes are better than Bravo, but bravo tubes are still good gen 3 tubes that may have some spots in the image. These two are bought in bulk and don't always have a data sheet. Once in a while they will show up with a data sheet, but it is not a guarantee.

Every Pinnacle tube I have gotten as of late has been pretty remarkable as far as the data sheets go. ITT seems to have stepped it up a bit. It is not that they were ever bad by any stretch of the imagination, it just seems that the numbers have been higher lately.

Wow. At that price, if the Armasight stuff is any good, the WASP will be DOA. Very interested in the LR variant.
Just let me know if you have any questions, I'd be glad to answer them. If you feel like it doesn't live up to the way I advertised it, I'll just buy it back from you or put it towards an upgrade.

Our SWAT team is currently doing an extensive T&E on a wide variety of clip-ons and the Armasight CO-LR is among the group. What I can tell you is it is the least expensive, by at least 35%, over the others we are testing and it is 100% holding it own. To say we are highly impressed is an understatement and we have been burned by lower price NV before and almost the entire team is comprised of former mil/national guard.

This really fits the bill fir affordable clip on, while the WASP is going to be cheaper then the military grade stuff it is still too expensive for the hunter/ hobbiest. I have made my decision on my NV purchase and it's going to be one of these units! Now I just need a few more Ben franks saved up...

I picked up one of the Nemesis 4x Gen2+ QS scopes from Aaron for a friend after getting to check them out in the field one night. Just picked up the same thing again for my Dad. Hell of a bang for the buck. Might have a PVS14 on the auction block soon to buy one for me.

He's a straight shooter and GTG.

And that one is a Bravo tube! Thanks for the compliments!

Ordered a CO-MR this morning! Can't wait to shoot it. I'm still torn about whether I should have gone with the CO-X or the CO-MR, but I think either way I made a good choice.

Will post some pics and do a review when it gets here!

I should add, Aaron was great through the whole process. Put up with all my questions, about 15 PM's worth of annoyances, just great to deal with. So unless I show up at home and there's a brick in an Armasight box, I couldn't recommend a nicer guy to do business with.

Thanks Aaron for all the answered questions via email and phone call, I'm sure u get sick of the same questions from every swinging dick! I'll be ordering a CO-LR ASAP!

My pleasure! Honestly I really enjoy it. Think about the alternative....I could actually have to work for a living, but for now I just talk to hide members for a living!

All right fellas, got one inbound(CO-LR gen 3A tube). I will do my best to take pics through tube at diff ranges and magnification. Not a lot of info on these out there on the net, so I'll try and help fix that. So far Delta-4-3 has been the best to deal with! I kill shit just about every weekend here in Texas. Ill post as many pics as I can but alyays seem th have a problem getting a full size pic up. Always comes up as a damn thumbnail pic. How do I take pics from iPhone and get them in my post full size? Thanks for any help

Can't wait to see your pics and read your reviews. What is a 3A tube? Manual gain? I am considering the CO-LR vs CNVD-LR.

Go to imgur: the simple image sharer and set up an account. Upload your pics to Imgur, and it will give you a link to copy and paste here that will display your picture full size. Good luck on the pictures! I have yet to get a good picture through a clip-on, but I have zero camera skills.

What LR do you have in stock? How about the mini also? Return for full refund if not satisfied?
Yessir, I won't sell anything that I'm not willing to stand behind with my wallet. The gentleman above you just bought the last LR I had on hand, but I will have more Alpha's and Pinnacle's on hand either Friday or Monday, or I can have them drop shipped directly to you.
I have a couple CO-MINI gen3 alpha' on hand. I have a demo unit that is a Gen3A, Automatic brightness control for $3,575. and some new ones with manual gain control, also gen 3A for $3,750.

Sorry for anyone who read this before the edit. I said CO-LR originally but meant to say MINI.

I just picked up a CO-LR Pinnacle from Delta, and I am very impressed with it so far. Here are a couple of things that I've learned:

1. I was on the fence for a CNVD-LR or PVS-27, but thought I'd be remiss if I didn't at least try a CO-LR for the price. My tube has great specs, and although I've never looked through either of the other optics, I can't imagine that they perform twice as well as the CO-LR. From everyone I've talked to, the CO-LR is one of the most underpriced night vision setups out there.

2. 1.5" is the standard height for clip on's like the PVS-22 and 27, and I've got higher rings on order for my rifles since they all sit a bit too low for the CO-LR. I'm at 1" right now so there's quite a difference in optical alignment.

3. My US Optic 1.8-10x is the best performer (for some reason) right now over my other scopes (Zeiss and S&B 5-25) and I suspect it is because the US Optic is nearly the right height (with the rings that I have) for the CO-LR. It could also be that the S&B starts at 5x and tunnels quite a bit below 7x, so it just looks ...well, like I'm looking through a tunnel. Again - I've got some 1.5" rings on order and I'll check it out again once they come in. It's hard to explain (and I wish I could get pictures through the tube, but with a clip-on it went over like a fart in church). All of my scanning has been at 200 yards or less, and perhaps the S&B would start to shine at longer ranges where it didn't tunnel so badly.

4. I haven't had to use IR illumination until last night before the moon popped up. Every time I've been home it's been fair/good natural illumination and the optic performed extremely well (again - especially with the US Optic). I did get a Torch Pro and used that last night, and that makes it a game changer.

5. 2-5x is about right on the US Optic, and 7x is possible with good lume. I had it all the way up to 10x last night with the Torch Pro and it still looked great. The S&B was just getting warmed up at about 12x on the same night, and went all the way to 15x or so before it started to get fuzzy.

3. There seems to be a lot of focusing going on with the unit to get a sharp picture. I have better resolution on the S&B with a different diopter than my day setting, and there's also parallax and the focus on the CO-LR. Once you get it all dialed, you get good focus. I seem to remember someone talking about this on a PVS-22 they had on another post...

I haven't shot the unit yet to see if it's collimated well, but I'm 100% happy with how it performs. If the unit was a great performer but Delta was a turd, I wouldn't have bought it. Delta has answered umpteen hundred emails, called me to answer some questions, and even sent me a message to see how I'm enjoying the unit. That's one whale of a business model, and I would gladly buy from him again.

What is the 3A tube?

3 Alpha, great gen 3 tube, but bought in bulk. It could be from ITT or L3, and generally will not have a data sheet. I have had a couple come in with sheets, but it is rare. I have yet to get one that wasn't a good tube. That said, I think the lowest SNR of any Pinnacle tube I have sent out for this sale is barely below 29. Pinnacle tubes have been coming in with great specs lately.
