ARC CDG Swept Bolt Handle

Ive had my CDG since pretty much day one. I really like the straight handle. However, it seems that a swept handle would be a little bit more ergonomic. I took the liberty to reverse engineer the OE and design a swept/bent version. I'm looking into having these 3D printed out of 17-4 Stainless. Here is a quick rendering of the part.

Going to try to gauge interest off of this post to see if its worth it to make.

Yes. The handles have a circular cross section that is easily bent for sweeping it back. I should mention that it's easily bent before it's heat treated for strength. Maybe we should selectively heat treat the handle so that they're bendable outside of the machine shop. How about that? Yet another feature. I'll look into that.

It’s an either sweep it yourself or send it to someone who can affair right now. I just got mine back recently. Had Fritz at Black Canyon Customs do it

it isnt too hard to change the angle and have it printed as options.

I’ve bent mine - it’s sweet. I’d make it 1/2” longer in an ideal world though.

Dunno what to tell ya scooter my hands are far from small. I use a knife hand to run my bolt

Oh man, I ain’t arguing with ya. Swept handle with a ball knob was what I wanted, just felt too short for me. I wish it worked as well as it does for you.
