Armalite AR-10A4 carbine

it seems like the barrel is very lightweight. will that screw up long range accuracy? it seems that people use kinda heavyer barrels. i dont want a bench gun but i doo wana shoot 600-800 yards with the 16" barrel. Also if you know of any 18" barrel that fits on armalite rifle not dpms that would be great info to have.

I've got an Ar-10A2.....older version of your rifle (has carry handle) and I can pretty easily hit torso size targets at 800. Ammo selection will make a difference as well as what kind of optic you are running.


Great guns though. Inside of 400 meters and you own everything you can see. Best part is I have never had a failure of any kind..very well built weapon.
