Loving the Kelby's action and the overall feel over the rifle

How do you find the ergonomics of the MPA? I'm trying to decide on a tactical chassis and having a hard time trying to decide between this, KRG Whiskey and Cadex...It's for a left hand Kelbly Atlas Tactical action. The MPA seems plenty popular but the overall style of the rifle looks a bit odd to me.

very nice man; I got to feel that kelbly action in the shop and was impressed. I am having a bear of a time settling on which action to go with though; I am going with a very similar build as you.

What COAL are you running with that action/ barrel? I know they throat them for a specific bullet- I want to say a 140 gr. ELD by default. I would be curious your load data if you want to share it.

I am loving the ergos up to this point. It seems to have a really natural point of aim for me once it is setup. Plus with everything they are adding it is a great chassis.

As far as COAL 2.820 running 140 ELDM with 42.8 gr of H4350 at 2829 FPS. The ES is 12 and SD is 5. Take a look at the 10 shot rapid fire group at 100.

Thanks for the info. They just started bringing these into Australia and the fact it can be made as a left hand is a bonus for me. I'll order one in a couple of months and hopefully have it for Xmas.

Very nice numbers. Do you know where 2.820 puts you in relation to the lands? One of the issue I had run in to with 6.5 CM was that I would have to run them bullets (and berger 140 hybrids) ridiculously long to get close enough to the lands. Even to the point where they wouldn't mag feed. I am curious where yours would fall using a OAL gauge tool- because MPA throats it for a 140 AMAX.

This is basically a clone of the factory 140 ELD-M from Hornady. I am sitting .022 off of lands at the moment and it is shooting great.
