atlas leg extensions won't lock up well

I've just recently picked up an atlas to try. I'm having a problem with the 3" extension pieces.

They don't seem to lock up fully causing them to pop off at the worst times. it seems the oring is to fat and keeps them from fully engaging.

I've tried using different orings but none are thin enough. has anyone else had this issue?

yup, mine pop-off all the time.

first time to hear this. are the ball detents going into the holes? with a click? Sometimes you have to press them in pretty hard to get them to fully engage. When fully engaged they will not rotate.

that is the problem the detents don't fully engage the hole with the orings on.

if I remove them they snap in solid. I tried to really push them on and they will hold better but not as well as the feet do.

I have some a/c orings that may fit better I'll have to try them next.
