Night Vision ATTENTION! Meeting addressing the use of NV when hunting in Kansas

Need your help. This is kind of late notice but I thought I would mention this to you guys in an effort to get some support. There is a meeting on Thursday(3/21/13) at the Kansas Natural History Museum (6425 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS) at 1:30pm.

I am going to specifically make the case for using night vision to hunt furharvester species(coyote, bobcat, raccoon, etc...). I DO NOT think it would be a good time to make a case for deer hunting yet as it would increase the risk of poaching. We could use all the support we could get and if we could get a petition going that would be even better. Not sure what the best way to get a petition started and could definitely use the help.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not a Kansas resident, but the OP made me think- what case for deer hunting with NV could be made that would not involve poaching? Night scouting?

1st thing that comes to mind with Deer . Agriculture Farm & Ranch/ private ground . Nuisance & destructive animal removal . Deer fit right in this category .
