B4 ARMORY CONCEALABLE SNIPER SYSTEM

AI has been doing this since 2010 when the AXMC was introduced at SHOT.

The scenario for this rifle is some sweaty fever-dream from a mom’s house basement dweller.

Unless you’re a mafia hit-man or wet ops assassin.

For thousands less, you could construct much the same thing with a Zeus Terminus action and a KRG W3 folder. A cutoff wheel could shorten the bit after the action on the W3 if it must fit in a tiny Pelican. Depending how long it is, then maybe shorten the forend the same way too (they make a bunch).

But why 🤷‍♂️ ?

Thinking about it a little more, the advantages of the CSS seem to be centered around the magwell. It is integral to the chassis vs the forend, which allows the detached forend to be shorter. The forend seems to attach vs captive thumbscrews vs an allen key and bolts. And the folder folds over the bolt handle, making the system a bit more less thick when folded.

Like, great for those high time-pressure niche assassin jobs on Craigslist lol.

Do even government anti-sniper teams need such a thing? Wouldn’t they be in position very early, kinda negating a reason to be super low profile and quick assembly speed? And is a pelican that size less attention-getting than a very slightly larger pelican?

Strange concept to be offering, but what do I know?

Only question I have is how secure is the barrel when shooting a lot of rounds? It's only hand tight. It's a bit overpriced for parts you can order. I'd rather take a AI all day then another rifle based on a 700 clone for that kind of money.

They don’t even have AI-like wrench flats on the barrel. I know it’s CF but I’m sure they could’ve made the CF sleeve shorter and allowed for some flats.

Just noticed the OP has exactly one post and he’s new, from 2024. Sigh.

There is a video of the rifle on youtube. They go over the rifle, and all was said they just hand tighten it, no tools are needed. The owner goes on about the rifle spewing a bunch of tactical talk, like how it's neva been dun befo. It's cringe AF to watch. Yeah, sure bro, it's just like the movies where you get a lone shooter sneaking into his ivory tower to "overwatch" some tangos... To me it's just a collection of parts you can just order.

Anyone seen one of these in real life? Any experience shooting one? Interesting in an odd sort of way. Not much on the web in terms of real reviews or experience.

Looking at the picture that is definitely a Vision chassis as mentioned before. It is the covert model.
