The hunting had slowed down considerably since about mid November but all of a sudden we are starting to see quite a bit more action. I don't know if you would call this the second stage of the rut because we really don't have a well defined rut around here but we definitely have a couple of hot does running around.
I have had one camera set to video mode this week and after seeing some of the action I got the past five days I think I'm going to switch a a couple others over and see what I can get.
First off I have a few pictures of a doe being bred. Typically I wouldn't post something like this but you really don't get these kind of pictures very often.
Here are a few videos of some pretty decent bucks. None of them appear to be really mature but it is definitely a few that will catch your eye... Keep in mind that the video quality isn't exactly HD quality to start with and by the time you transfer it to youtube and post it up here it has lost some more resolution. It isn't perfect but it sure is fun!
