looking at this for a new build , I would like to use a Badger M2008 , or a Stiller Tac 338 action in a AICS. How much modification to the AICS if I use the Badger

Lots of guys have this setup on the Hide, myself included. Any of the reputable gun builders should be able to do this, as well as set you up to use the 10 round AW mags. It's a great way to go for a build.

You can check out my M2008 + AICS build in my signature.
I sent my AICS to Badger to have it milled for the M2008. Cost was $120 including return shipping. Just specify that you want to use AW mags and they will shorten the mag catch accordingly (which I chose).
But you will see the Mark @ SAC wasn't happy with the milling by Badger and took it a step further. I personally haven't seen my rifle yet because Uncle Sam said so.
