Per published specifications, BO 8-40 screws have Torx heads, size 15 (T-15). One of my local customers encounted an issue using T-15 bit from Borka torque driver kit. I just met him, he brought a scope with rings and indeed, T-15 bit does not fully fit BO screw heads - it appears that bit does not go deep enough into the T-15 socket. Socket does look a bit weird to me - kind of a mix between torx and hex shape, to the extent that it was difficult to tell, at least for me, what exactly is the shape of the head socket. I know for sure that Borka T-15 bit is strictly standard size T-15 and never heard of similar issues before. I'm also certainly aware that BO products are of high quality and unlikely to have issues.
Did anybody run into situation like this, when T-15 bit does not fit supposetly T-15 screw head? I would appreciate some feedback, it is really a very puzzling situation.
Thanks,
Boris, Borka Tools
