Another GOAT.Nick Saban might actually be God or God really likes the way he coaches.
If it comes to that it should be a great game.Roll Tide baby!
I will be the first to admit that I didn’t think we were capable after the performance over the last few weeks…..but I will happily stand corrected. The only part I hate is that there is a decent chance that we could face GA again in the playoff/national championship. It is extremely hard to beat a team twice in the same season.
I will enjoy this one as a fan and hope they can continue to perform at this level.

Roll tide. I did not know there were many Bama people here.
Well, I'm a Florida fan (there I said it), but I'm also an SEC fan.
I would compare Saban to Bryant, but then I would be afraid to leave the house as every citizen of Alabama would be praying for a lightning strike.
I figured the playoff committee will move Bama to #1, Michigan to #2, GA to #3 and keep Cincinnati at #4.Playoff game. No way BCS will allow two SEC teams to compete for the title.
Saban is probably gonna go down in history as the GOAT!Saban is the best coach Alabama has ever had and more than likely the best coach they ever will have.
More than anyone will ever know!Roll tide. I did not know there were many Bama people here.
Agreed! Bryant was great but one could argue that football then vs now is a ridiculous whole other level.Well, you wouldn’t get any argument from me, nor any prayers for lightning strikes.
Coach Bryant did what he did in a different time where there were FAR less restrictions on what coaches and universities did. He wasn’t right or wrong….just a different time in college football. Not taking anything away from what he did in his generation. It was just a different time and he was king of the hill during that time.
What Saban has been able to accomplish is really something altogether different and, in my opinion, more difficult because of the NCAA restrictions, scholarship limitations, and the level of talent out there now. The fact that he keeps his teams competing at such a high level is quite the accomplishment. Think about it: he has only had 2 losing seasons in his entire 26-season college coaching career (his first year at Michigan St and his first year at Bama due to 5 wins being vacated by NCAA for previous infractions). Since being at Bama, his record is 177-24 in 15 seasons. If you erase his first season at Bama, his record is 169-18 in 14 seasons. The most games he has ever lost in a season is 3 (outside of his first season)….in arguably the consistently toughest top to bottom conference in the country.
I love me some Bama, but I’m realistic too. It won’t last forever. We caught lightening in a bottle and it is amazing that it hasn’t escaped yet. I am enjoying it while it lasts.
Roll Tide!
Same game, same team, different legends.More than anyone will ever know!
