Gunsmithing Bartlein Barrel Contour for MPA Chassis?

I saw a Bartlein barrel that has is 1.250" for the 5" or so, then makes a hard step down to 1.000" for the remain length of the barrel, no taper. I can't find it listed on any website. I was told is for a MPA chassis.

Any help would be appreciated.

Its called mpa heavy contour. Its 1.25 for 5 inches, then 90 degree shoulder down to 1.15 for the length of the barrel. Call Bartlein and ask for the mpa heavy contour.

I called Bartlein and they had no clue what I was talking about. They said they could build one, would take 6 months.

Any issues on the 1.250 touching the chassis back toward the action? I like the idea of that contour!!

On the mpa comp chassis the 5 inches of 1.250 doesn’t touch the chassis. We made the 1.250 breech longer at first, but it would hit the bottom of the chassis.
