Here's their size chart in case you have a scope that's not on the list. They say if you are in between sizes to go with the smaller size and put the cap in a cup of water in the microwave for a few seconds to make it expand and fit your scope.

What I came up with for this scope using BC covers is #19 for the eyepiece, and #45 for the objective lens. The objective lens cover required a layer of tape inside for a good snug fit. The #45 cover was an older one with thinner plastic than the newly manufactured ones. I've ordered a new one to see if the fit is better, but it hasn't arrived yet. Hope this helps

I just measured my Falcon 5-25x50 to order a set, and I came up with #19 for the eyepiece and #43 for the objective.

In the Sinclair Catalog, it has a helpful paragraph explaining how to get the correct size caps. If you can find your dimension from your scope manufacture or have the ability to measure your self, then use this tool:

from Sinclair catalog:

"To order scope covers, it
is best if you pre-measure
your objective and your
eyepiece prior to ordering.
Use a caliper to measure
the outside diameter of
your scope’s objective and
eyepiece to within .001".
Using the sizing chart,
select a cover that is within
a range of .01" less than
your measurement to .025"
larger than your measurement.
If you don’t feel comfortable
doing this, please
have the scope manufacturer
and the specific model
ready for the sales rep".

The Sinclair info is nice, but IS NOT how <span style="text-decoration: line-through">you want </span>I would recommend to measure for BC flip ups, unless you want to be picking them up off the ground all the time.......
Measure with calipers and get .005-.015 smaller. Boil a cup of water in the microwave and drop the BC cap in a ziploc, then into the water. Put on scope while hot, then leave them.

My guess would be that the Sinclair stuff quoted may be for their old green vinyl slip on scope caps.

Mueller scopes aren't listed anywhere "official" by Butler Creek. Here's a chart I came up with though. These have been tested in-house and should fit. The "hot water" technique may need to be used on an individual flip-up cover basis.

The #45 cover was an older one with thinner plastic than the newly manufactured ones. I've ordered a new one to see if the fit is better, but it hasn't arrived yet. Hope this helps

My Ziess 56mm mics at 2.440 and I'm using a #45 that Mics at 2.410 inside.If you can mic the tube I can check the chart I have for you and at least let you know which will work.

What cap for Obj do I need for a USO ARD made for Premier 30-15x50. I measured it at 56.9mm and the two closest in the chart are:

56.4 = 39
57.2 = 40

Should I go with the one that is .3mm more in diameter (maybe it would be a tad loose) or the one that is .5mm less in diameter and squeeze it on (maybe it won't squeeze on)?

I would say go with the slightly smaller one and use the hot water method, but then again that may be too much difference. Think you can also go with the larger one and a wrap or two of electrical tape.

Its been my experience that its best to go smaller. If they are too tight, I drop them in a freezer thickness zip-lock bag and set them in boing water for 20-30 seconds, then work them on while they're hot. Much better than them falling off under recoil, that get annoying FAST!

I got my package today and the #40 was a perfect, really snug fit. It was .3mm larger than my measured diameter and will stay really tight.
