Trigger thank you. How did you zero you red dot? I just got the same set up.

I had the red dot zeroed for 50 yards but I've since replaced that with offset back up sights from Griffin Armament.

I ended up having to use a aluminum rail with a ARMS bipod rail mount. The ARMS mount only locks to a little bit of rail and would slip off the nylon rail when I load into the bipod

No, you need to buy the $45 KAC rail section. Anything less is crap.

(Kidding) The BCM rails work perfectly fine.

I've personally seen a nylon rail segment fail. For bipods using a normal stud (Harris etc.) I like the PWS mount.

Which do you think will fail first? Spend the 20 bucks for the aluminum rail.

I tried a nylon pic rail section for a bipod and it lasted two range sessions before it failed...lesson learned.
