Gunsmithing Bending tenacity bolt handle

Would it be possible for me to have this handle swept back/down a touch? I like the handle but it’s so straight it sticks out wildly far and is a bit awkward.

I see lots of swept ball handles for 60 degree actions, is there a reason I can’t/shouldn’t have that done for a 90?

You will have to modifiy your stock for the new bolt shape. I was thinking about doing the same with some PTG bolt handles hope some guys here know how to to this.

It has more space on that side anyway and figured if it was swept gently it would be off the stock before the curve got that aggressive

The boyds are made for the curved Remington handles .

The handle unscrews about 1/4 away from the bolt, in case you didn't know. You should be able to just put a sharpie mark where you want the bend, unscrew it, do your business, and screw it back on for a test fit.
I really see no downside if it makes it more comfortable and practical.

Yes this is already an aftermarket handle. My main concern is 1. Is bending it doable so it still looks good 2. Is bending a 90dwgree handle a bad idea for some reason (since I only see 60s swept )

Break out the oxy-acetalyne and go to town. Worst case it needs replaced. Just make sure you don't booger the threads to screw it back in, or put too much heat on the bolt if you leave it assembled.
You might try drilling and tapping a piece of scrap metal and install the bolt handle onto that for a bending fixture.

Bending of bolt handles has been done for decades on military surplus rifles when converting them to "sporter" rifles. It can be done tastefully, or it can look like hammered dog shit.
