I've been shooting my new B14R for a couple of weeks. Love the rifle, but would like a trigger pull in the one pound range. Been following the KOD thread. What would you B14R owners recommend? I don't want to go crazy. I put a Jewell on a Rem 40Xbr years ago and like it. Looking a Bix'n Andy, Timney, Jewell, etc. Looking for hassle-free fit. Any help would be appreciated.

For hassle free, I think the B&A TacSport Pro is a good option with the various sear height options.

I'm not pleased mine has a wonky safety spring, and I feel the cocking effort is slightly elevated, but I still think it's a good option for ultra light pull single or two stage.

I purchased my 2nd TriggerTech Diamond a few weeks ago and installed it on my B14R. It has worked flawlessly (Just like the 1st one I had installed on a custom center fire build) after approx. 250 rounds fired. It is virtually infinitely adjustable for weight of pull and breaks like a thin glass rod left in the deep freeze! Installed easily with no issues. 'IF' I had one grip, I wouldn't mind a 2 stage version but I'm not complaining...

Jewel makes two really cheap triggers that should work. One is set at 1 lb and then there's this one. There's no safety if that matters. Thanks for reading my thread, I won't say anything more that isn't already said about my trigger experiences.

Thanks guys for the advice. Most of my rifle shooting is from the bench at paper and steel. I don't think I need a safety. Certainly don't need the bolt release. The BnA is fascinating (retired engineer). Been watching the videos.

First trigger I tried in my B-14R was a Trigger Tech Diamond. It just simply didn't work. I would get AD's on bolt closure, very inconsistent trigger weight, bolt took more force to operate and before it would work reliably I had to take the weight over a lb IIRC. If I wanted a 1 lb trigger I could have gotten a different Trigger Tech model. I'm sure they are great triggers "as is shows the amount of users in the article" but it didn't work out for me.
