Berger 215

So. Seems the Berger 215H has an almost cult like following. I've just completed a 300 WM build and will be looking to build an inventory of bullets. I have 208's and 205's but wondering if the 215's are really that much better. They are nearly impossible to find at a sane price. Will be shooting targets up to 1000yd with 26" 1-10 twist Bartlein. If you have any alternatives would be most appreciated.

208s are really good. I have stocks of, and use, both.

The 208 is more than adequate for 1k yard shooting.

We shoot the 208 eldm out to 1 mile no issues.

The 215s are magic in the .300 Win when the target is something breathing . I have also ran 212s and 208s with excellent results on steel and rocks. 28” bartlein 1-9 with h1000 at 3000ish FPS.

The 215's are what my 300WM's like.

FYI, EuroOptics had them in stock today, but didn't last long. Maybe it's a good sign that more will be available soon.
