Berger Bullets in stock

Thanks for the Heads-Up ... they had a couple of sizes I needed. Bought everything I needed.
Wanted to stock up before the "hoarders" got there.
Wait. What. OMG ... I'm a "hoarder". LOL

received that email from them last nite around 11pm. I bought quite a few of the 500 rnd boxes last time they were in stock so i passed and figured i'd let others buy them. Did buy 500 of the 6.5 in 153.5 gr. hoping my gun will like them

What did you think of the 153.5's. I found they were accurate, but a little slow. Went to the 140's with a similar charge, same accuracy, better velocity, and slightly smaller ES and SD. I worry about the lower velocity impacting the heavier round when pushing out past 1,000 ... but I'm still testing and pondering. Trying not to waste too much in supplies early in that process. Hoping to settle on "the perfect 6.5-CM cartridge" prior to heading to Utah for a long range clinic in a few months. Also deciding on the right ELR rifle (300-WM or 300-PRC) and the right load for either/both of them to stretch to 2,000-ish during that clinic. There's a milk jug in Utah at 2,000 yards waiting to be murdered soon.

Any chance you'd share your favorite 153.5 load data?

sure will,, i loaded a few today and hope to be able to test them out tomorrow if it's not snowing. Shooting them out of a new proof research carbon wrapped barrel i just installed. Not to worried about velocity as i'm going to be shooting them in the NRL Hunter series and from what i understand, the targets are going to be mostly under 1000 yds. I think they may work well for that

I have them loaded in my 6.5 PRC and was able to get them up to 2920 or so. I could easily get them under 1/2 MOA and the BC seems to be very consistent, I ran them in a long range shooting class with the Revic and my elevation was spot on for pretty much every shot.
