Rifle Scopes Best all around scope $1500

I know right, look how LAME they look. Just a stupid walmart scope. I amaze people about once a week that are ignorant to the fact that Bushnell makes a top quality product.

I bet they used to walk barefoot in the snow up hill to and from school.

Don't you have some reviews to do and magic internal adjustments to solve for non-walmart scopes?

Haha dieselgeek very true! But still a fancy scope and fancy rifle won't take the place of experience and time behind the rifle. And Bushnell makes a hell of a scope now, I watched a video of a guy take a .308 out to 1609m with a Bushnell and h-58. Nice rifle btw- you gotta can for that break? I'm jealous!

I never said any such thing. I was replying to this comment.

The problem I have with bushnell is when I think of them I think of cheap walmart binoculars and its just not "cool" to me, and coolness is a factor as well maybe I'm wrong but I'm honest.

As for Andy's comment, I just get tired of the old " well in nam they used this"


That's great, but now we have FFP, higher magnification, and better glass. As well as matching turrets. You take a scope like that and give = shooters an old 8x from nam, I'll let you guess who gets more hits on target.

As for the mile shot w/ an H58 if you're talking about the magpul video, then .... Well just stop.

OP $1,500 is a odd pricepoint for scopes in this line.


It looks like you're around $1000 then it jumps to $1700+

You take an 18 inch gasser .308 w/ factory ammo and tell me how many impacts you get at a mile. Also don't have Todd spotting for you and calling wind.

Another vote for the SS 5-20x HD. I cannot directly compare it to Bushnell's offerings but I know that it is a rock solid scope with great glass. You can probably find them with ill for ~$1200 used and ~$1K without.
