Best Bipod for remington 700 ?

I am thinking of going with a Harris S-BR 6-9"

Its for a 5R remington 700.

I have always bought them, is there something better ?

Haven't used one, but you might check out ATLAS bipods.

I had an atlas v-8 and really wasn't very impressed, so I sold it. I like my Harris on the badger tramp.

I have a Harris on two of my three Rem 700's. I have an Atlas V8 on the other. Either way is fine.

How about a link to the Atlas and someone who sells them. Cant find on ebay, gun broker and did a search on Dogpile.

I have been really impressed with the bipods Dave from LR Accuracy is offering. These bipods are really in another league than anything else I have tried. The bipod on the Remington is his new bipod designed for smaller rifles as it has a narrower back plate.

Used a Harris for years recently switched to an Atlas and couldn't be happier!

Ordered the quick detach v8 and 2 rails. Figured i could switch back and forth between rifles. I hope it mounts good and solid.

The Harris bi-pods are no comparison to the atlas. I was a little apprehensive to pay $250 for a bi-pod, but it was money well spent. I like to lock the legs forward on a 45, it loads easy and is a solid platform. Plus it's gets you lower to the ground

if you dont mind the exposed springs then Harris is my fave. otherwise the Altas is the best bet for you.

I have had a Harris Bi-pod for the past few years. I thought it was great. Then I got an Atlas-- never would have nothing but. It is worth every penny. I know it is expensive and that is what prevented me at first ...(2+ years), I finally just took the plunge. I sold my Harris Bi-pod a few days ago. Pay onece Cry once.

I recently shot this group with my 5R prone with that exact bipod and no rear support but my Arm. So my vote goes to Harris, while i've not tried others, i've seen no need to.

Same here I have been using harris for about 5 years now and still going good. I guess if you have the money for a Atlas go for it.

I love my Harris S-BR 6-9! never have had a problem with it and its always been there when iv needed it!
