Best cleaning rod

Yesterday I asked about cleaning rod guides. Thanks for all of the responses. Thought I'd now ask what members believe is the best cleaning rod?

I've used Dewey for many years but the Bore Tech looks good.

I use a Parker Hale but I know Dewey is equivalent. I think the threading is different. No experience with Bore Tech.

I have used Dewey for many years and think they are very good but my next may be a Bore Tech.

I use a dewey rod. In the past i had a Bore Tech and A Neil Jones rod. They are all good rods. I am going to order a set from Neil here soon. His rod that you use for patches is 1 piece. No looking for or screwing on a jag. It is made into the rod.

If you care about your rifle! Lucas is the only way to go...

I need to read a little better. Sorry! Dewey rods have always workrd great for me. Put it together with a lucas guide and you have a great system..

Dewey has been working for the last couple of years. I see no need to change.

Dewey makes good stuff that lasts a long time. That works for me.

I've been using the dewey and a cal specific bore guide from sinclair for years and it works perfect

I have had the same 5.56, and 7.62 Dewey rods for years, and when I got my 40X .22LR I had to get the Ivy rods. Head and shoulders above anything I have ever see or used.

+1 for the Bore Tech Rod and Patch Guide. I've been using this combo on my rifles for 10 years now and they are still going strong. The handle on the Bore Tech rod is very comfortable and the bearings allow the handle to spin forever.

If I ever wear out my Dewey rods I'll try a Bore Tech.
I don't expect that to be any time soon though.
