Re: Big changes at TAB GEAR
Thank you again everyone for the well wishes and continued support.
Pat, you're right sir, America does Rock! I'm grateful every day I get up and put my flags on the pole.
Since I've been asked several times recently for an idea of what we're working on.
First is a stock pack, I'm really debating whether or not to even have a pocket on it too. I've got stock packs on all of my rifles and have had dope cards and tools in the pocket of every one for years, and have never had to use any of it. Also with the detachable mag systems everyone is going to I'm debating whether it even needs shell loops too. I've had several people ask for a stock pack that has the lammy suede on both sides so you have the same cheek weld for shooting on either side. With our Sling Thing tool pouch you can still carry your scope tools on the sling. Just thinking out loud here, it may have a pocket after all, who knows.
The second thing is a AICS mag pouch. We designed a mag pouch for a company that was open topped with the bungee retention like lots of people use, except we designed it so you could get a mag back in one handed. It came out good and I'll be redesigning it for the AI mags. It'll be designed so that the AW 10 round mags will fit it too. It may have an option of attaching a flap closure too.
So there's a couple of things. Both of these are not in production at all yet, still getting designs worked out so please don't call Lisa wanting to purchase them. There'll be plenty of notice when they come on the market, and there'll be plenty of stock built up before hand too.
One other person that I neglected in my original post when I was thanking everyone for all the support over the years who has been extremely instrumental in the growth of TAB GEAR. I don't know how I did but I forgot to thank Frank, Lowlight, owner of the Hide here. Frank has been there from day one with suggestions, testing, input, promoting, and taking pictures for us. Thanks a lot for all of your help Frank, I've really appreciated everything you've done for me over the years.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend.
