Howdy guys,
Recently shipped an origin to my gunsmith for my first build on this action.
I never had an Origin before, and am wondering if there is any risks to having the action cerakoted along with the stainless barrel while its in the shop? Its for a hunting rifle, not a match gun.
I've felt others' builds on other custom actions that binded a bit and lost that smooth as glass feeling on the raceways from cerakoting. Maybe those actions had tighter tolerances to begin with, not sure.
Assuming it is done correctly, would you guys think cerakoting this action would be a positive, and has anyone had any negative effects with doing so?
Thank you, I appreciate any replies.
