Don't believe it - I can see the powder burns where you shot that at about 5 feet from the muzzle

That 90gr is a real shooter if you have the barrel twist. It will outperform all but the heaviest 308 loads. Very nice shooting Lige.

A great group, but I don't think there going to out perform the 7mm 180vlds. jus sayin.

Nice shooting!!, most people on here think 3 to 5 inch groups at 1k cant happen though.

X-count I shoot palma with a 7WSM in NRA sanctioned matches, Palma is not limited to .223 and .308. F-Class open rifles get to play in Palma matches. There is an F-Class group set aside for .223 and .308, called TR - stands for traditional rifle, but they are looking to potentially exand and add a class for tactial rifles - only in the discussion stages so far.
Each stage is 15 shots for record, the sighters vary with distance (800 - unlimted, 900 - 2 sighters, 1000 2 sighters.)

Just because the course of fire is the same as Palma does not make it Palma. If your running a scope your not in a Palma match. Just shooting the same course of fire. Scope/rests are about as far from Palma as a shooter can get. sorry, Palma shooters use slings and iron sights.

zoom in on the pic of the target, slight yaw in holes. 24.9R15, BR4, Lapua brass. 7.7 twist Krieger. Had a Savage Palma 223 last year and decided the floating bolt head was the key. Bighorn action improves that principle with super tight tolerances and alignment.

Palma is so fun, it really test your skills, esp if you only use the 155's in .308. I have two palma rifles, one .308 and the other is a .223.
