We offer existing TL3's the DLC coating for $75. Just send your receiver in to Zermatt Arms and we will take care of it from there.I have a TL3 from before DLC was offered. Can I send that in for the treatment? What's the cost on that?

We have to clean it up before it can be coated one way or another, so it's still $75.What if it's cerekoted...... ??

We will only coat the action. If you want to send the barreled action in, we can disassemble it before coating and reassemble before we ship to you.If the barrel is on will you still coat it Ray?
It's been different for almost everyone, but we quote 4-6 weeks.Ray,
What is the current lead time on sending an action back to have it DLC coated?
Thanks.
I've got to take mine off and send it in for DLC running dad's SR3 last weekend which i had DLC'd was noticeably smoother than my bare TL3. Oh it shoots as well
Thank you sir. SAC does quality work. Just wish the V6 was holding zero.Man, that is one of the nicest looking rifles I have seen in a while!

Are both yours and your dad's TL-3s sitting in manners mini-chassis? Curious to know if they are skim bedded or not, although I would think the SAC build would be.
The best match we have seen is work done by DC Precision. He happens to help around the shop when he has time so he has a lot of time around the new DLC coating. My suggestion would be to get in touch with him to match barrel color to action color.Does anyone here have any pictures of a DLC'd TL3 with a cerakoted barrel? Curious to know what color cerakote looks nice with the DLC.
I know graphite black is typically a good match for scopes and rings, but I saw that armor black may be a better match to the DLC?
TL3 in a Manners PRS-1 and a TL3 in an XLR Envy chassis
Very nice! I am dropping my TL3 into an Envy chassis as well. Any issues with fit at all? I did specify with XLR that it was for a TL3. What trigger did you go with?
My TL3 is in a minichassis and my tempest is in a minichassis. The SR3 in the above picture is bedded. By whichever method SAC does

It's Cerakote Graphite black i believe. Thanks, that SR3 looks amazing, just like pretty much everything that comes out of SAC's shop. I'm curious to know what cerakote color is on the barrel?

Everything dropped in almost perfect. The only thing I would change is I wish they had inletted the bolt handle slot another .0125” down. It is very close if not touching when you slam the bolt down. I’m running a Huber 2-stage trigger. I love the set up, especially when shooting it off the tripod. The M-Lok forearm is a plus.
If you send us an email asking for a tennon print, we will get you set up with what you need. As for the PRC, we have a barrel coming in very soon for a shop build.Any advice on what smiths can cut a TL3 barrel without the action? And knowledge if they do 6.5 PRC? Thanks.
That is a beautiful pair of Bighorns you got there! I love the paint on both chassis. I'm curious which action you like better, and how noticeable the effects of the DLC coating are compared to the naked action?Coated and Uncoated TL3's set up in XLR Element chassis for the moment. 6XC, 6Dasher and 6.5PRC Proof Research barrels, Trigger Tech Diamond triggers.
The group is 7 rounds with a "called" flyer (it was me) @ 100 yards with the 6XC

@duramaxed I just sent you a PM regarding the service. We do that as a bread and butter type product, I've cut more Bighorn barrels than I can remember, it's approaching 1000 for just TL3's alone at this point.Any advice on what smiths can cut a TL3 barrel without the action? And knowledge if they do 6.5 PRC? Thanks.

Yes, we will have compatibility with switch lug systems.@BigHorn / ZAI Team I meant to ask. Since the lug on the ORIGIN isn't integral could someone incorporate a switch lug with the action with relative ease? Since the footprint is 700 based?
