I'm kinda panning around on the internet looking for some nice binoculars.

Glass is my number one objective, but I would like a reticle and to stay under 1k or else I'd splurge on some new swaros.

I've seen these milsurp hensoldts, d16/17/18/19

Anyone have experience with those? They have a reticle inside. How's the glass?

Any other options simar to those with great glass?

Not too set on a power range but 7-10 is normal and fine with me.

I have two sets of Steiner 8x30 MilR.

Nice, compact, tough bino.

They are an infinity focus so they are fast if you are scanning an area, looking for movement, and need to get some quick 8X magnification.

Glass is serviceable. If you are looking at Hensoldt Im thinking you want better glass and may have a bigger budget.

The Steiner 8x30 sport focus design is such that you may not always get the sharpest focus. Sometimes I find my finger wishing for a center focus wheel that isn't there....but for a speedy look and identify they work well.

For rifle shooting the mil reticle would be marginally useful.

There is another opinion for you for what its worth.
